Fall is coming, so get geared up for emo prime time. Jacket Weather's inaccurately named 'Split EP' was a huge highlight find for this week, perfectly bittersweet for a cloudy November day (too bad it's September.) Some newer goofy twinklecore bands here like KITCALICO and Mordecai and the Rigbys were pretty impressive, although I really think they need to ditch the TV show samples. Of course, I need to mention that there's a great selection of recent screamo hits here, big special shoutout to boxcutter (who my friend Jimmy knows) and local band .22lr.
