BSTF #752 January 2009
It's a crisp winter day in Washington, DC – in a different time, with a different president. George W. has lost the 2008 presidential election, and Inauguration Day is looming. But bitter George is determined to stay in office – after all, he's still got the conch, right? His mind is delaminating, and one night in the Oval Office he hallucinates a tense faceoff with his rival that shakes him to his core. The desperate madness that ensues is like a mashup of Atlas Shrugged, Lord of the Flies, Meet John Doe, and Putney Swope.
